This blog has not lived up to its name for years now. The problem back then was that I had to scan, photoshop, and upload every drawing that I have! Last month changed that - I finally bought a smart phone HAHAHA. I've been trying to upload my nightly doodles there. Hopefully I'll have enough to compile and post here. ♥

Hello again. Sorry for not updating! I made a blog with my friends, you can check it out here. I'm trying (again) to be active online. Maybe cross-post some posts I made at our group blog, and maybe update my deviantart and tumblr from time to time as well. I need some routine in my life hahaha. 

I made this fanart with markers and very light lineweights. I'm trying to emulate my friend's style on this one. Unfortunately, my stubborn messy style took over HAHA. Oh well. It looks okay to me!

Applause / Allergy

 Uh... hi. This piece is inspired from Lady Gaga's new single "Applause" / upcoming album "Artpop". So excited! This does not look like Lady Gaga at all! Just made a quick sketch so I could copy the makeup style with watercolor. When I finished this piece I was sooo satisfied with my work. Days later: meh. Hahaha.

I was supposed to upload a different artwork but I threw it away. Why? I'm apparently allergic to chalk and charcoal! My eyes and hands were itchy and I kept on sneezing, ugh. I tried doing another artwork using oil pastels : NOPE. Still allergic (or maybe because of the dust? I used my 10 year old oil pastel set). Oh well~ I miss using my messy art materials. Maybe I should do this everyday so I could relax. Hmm.

Sorry for not updating.
I've been practicing realistic style since last year. Any improvements? Maybe. 
I don't draw as much as I would like anymore.
Reasons? No time, boredom, busy with review and board exams (I passed btw~).
Now looking for a job related to my course.
I'm still thinking if I should update this blog more. (or not).

Scanning

Good Morning? I just woke up haha. Since I've left the workforce a couple of days ago I've been lazy so I decided to scan my doodles. (Also the fact that I'm on my pc now instead of my laptop). Sooooooo, yea.

Birthday

My Chocolate toffee birthday cake from Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee.

(I bought this yesterday at their Tomas Morato branch with my dog after work. Yeah, I brought my dog at work. It's because they wanted to see him plus the fact that it was my last day there. I'm sure I will miss their company. Walking with Taba is fun, he understands my commands whenever we cross the street or walking at the right place. He's not scared of cars also, which is a plus. Also very friendly with people. Brought him inside KoCCo - thank you for letting him stay inside! He was well behaved, I'm so proud ♥ ).

Sooooooooooo. I sang `Happy birthday to me` around 10pm on April 4 because I wanted to eat my cake early, haha.

Spent the day with mama and a friend at Ace Water Spa. I really love swimming!

As for the doodles, will upload soon since I have a lot of time now.

Kawasaki #2

More Kawasaki goodness ♥. I would like to explain that even though I referenced this doodle from Ms. Audrey Kawasaki - that I would like to put my copyright/trademark on it because it is still hand drawn by me. I would not like someone else saying `Look at my original sketch! I'm so awesome!` or `I made a drawing out of Audrey Kawasaki's work!`. Hmm, maybe what I'm trying to say is that you should make your own work instead of stealing somebody else's hard work - even if its just a referenced sketch. I used to know someone who just edited works and claimed it as her own `sketch` without proof of a hard copy. Sigh! Just random ramblings.

Nail Polish

I did something silly over the weekend that I had to write about. I bought and applied nail polish on my nails for the first time! I'm not really a girly girl who uses make-up and other kikay stuff, but these past few months I've been looking for sparkly, shiny silver items for reasons that I really can't explain. This is my latest obsession - shiny shimmering silver nail polish. I bought 2 pieces of nail polish from Etude House. Sooooo...how does it look? I hope it looks fine for those who are experienced with this stuff. As for me, I'm quite satisfied with it that I'm planning on buying the other colors! Heeh. (Also, this blog is not living up to its name. Ugh, I must scan my doodles!)

Resolutions

I want to blog more, maybe something about the activities I do in real life with friends and family since I have bad memory.
Go out more - attend galleries and all those artsy things with friends who appreciate them.
More nomnom trips with ♥.

Digi-art

Trying digital art again. Done with mouse. The lineart is so-so because it's done with the pen tool, it has less lines compared to the traditional art I do. It's as if I'm trying to do vector art because of the solid black hair and then I'm trying to do another thing like decent layer/shadowing because of the flesh tones. I also have a problem with the color choices... I can't seem to get that "perfect flesh tone". Oh well. I guess I just need a lot of practice.
